Coburns is an independent Australian whisky distillery based in the Southern Highlands of NSW. We produce single malt whiskies matured slowly in small American and French oak casks, crafted to be as intentional as they are expressive.

Every drop of Coburns is made, matured, and bottled in Australia, from grain to glass. Our barrel warehouses and bottling operations are located in the Southern Highlands.

No. Coburns whisky is not available in retail stores or bars. It’s released exclusively via our online store, and will soon be available in our cellar door located in Moss Vale, NSW.

The Trunk Club is a members-only Coburns whisky experience. Each membership begins with a hand-crafted Coburns Trunk, containing your first bottle of Coburns single malt, a Coburns x Denver & Liely whisky glass, Coburns whisky analyser, your Coburns Passport, and the Periodic Table of Whisky.

Membership is a one-off purchase and does not expire.

You can join The Trunk Club directly through our website by purchasing a Trunk Club Membership. Membership includes your first bottle and trunk, delivered to your door.

Members of The Trunk Club receive complimentary shipping on all whisky purchases and complimentary return shipping for empty bottles returned in your trunk with the purchase of a new bottle of whisky.

Any additional shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

An adult aged 18 years or over must be present to accept delivery.

If no one is available, our delivery partner will leave a card or contact you to arrange collection from your local post office.

Empty bottle returns are complimentary for members of The Trunk Club within Australia when made with a new bottle purchase.

Simply tick the “Return my empty bottle” box at checkout. We’ll contact you within two business days to arrange a prepaid return label for your Coburns Trunk and empty bottle.

No. Your Coburns Trunk is yours to keep and reuse for future bottle returns and refills.

Orders are allocated immediately after purchase, so they can’t be changed or cancelled once confirmed.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll organise a replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Coburns produces Australian single malt whiskies matured in French or American oak barrels. Each release is unique, drawn from specific barrels that have reached peak maturity.

All barrels are matured in our Southern Highlands barrel store, where cool, stable conditions allow the whisky to mature slowly and evenly.

The distillery is not currently open to the public, however our Cellar Door is opening in 2026 so subscribe to our email newsletter for updates.
